What is herd of a couple female horses called without a stallion in it?
I looked everywhere and cannot find it. I'm talking about what if their are a couple lone mares that have not found a herd yet and run into each other. Do they stick together since they are social animals or do they part ways to find a stallion herd? If they stick together what do you call it? A band?
