Deposition
Deposition in Geography refers to a process where sediments or rocks are transported by flowing ice or water, wind or gravity. Examples include beaches, deltas, glacial moraines, sand dunes and salt domes. this phenomenon also takes place when a flood comes into contact with the plain area.

The deposition is the geological manner in which deposits, soil, and minerals are supplemented to a landform or land mass. Wind, ice, rainwater, and gravity carries earlier weathered surface element, which, at the suppression of adequate kinetic energy in the liquid, is placed, forming up sheets of sediment.
