I would love to help you, But I can't draw a picture. Draw 24 with 2 base tens and 4 ones. Take away 20. I THINK that the last part is saying that you can add stuff to your result to get the number you had before.( THIS IS PROBABLY NOT TRUE, JUST LETTIN YA KNOW ME THOUGHTS)
