The Grange - The National Grange of Order of Patrons of Husbandry - was a fraternal organization in the United States. It encouraged families to unite and promote economic and political well being of the agricultural community. The Grange was important to help farmers fight against large business interests by organizing in which crops they needed to grow so they could get the best prizes and earn more money.
