If you add a decimal point to the number being divided you can use the zeros to make the number bigger, for example: 85 can become 85,000 by adding a decimal point and three zeros. Then you would add the decimal point back in three places to the left. The answer would be 0.0084956

To divide 85 by 9,605, you have to do put the 9,605 as your dividend and the 85 as your divisor and then start by seeing how many times 85 can go into 960 and so the answer would be 11 times and then multiply 11 by 85 which is 935 and then subtract 935 from 960 which is 25 and then bring down the 5 to make the number 255 and then see if 255 can go into 85 and yes it can go into 85, 3 times, because 3x85 is 255 and then subtract and you get 0 and that's all and so the answer would be 113 and thank you for this question you asked.
