I REALLY NEED HELP. In to kill a mocking bird could u describe mayella as a southern belle? I feel like u could because when i compare her to scout she seems like one. she has a dress on in the movie compared to scout when she always has her overalls on. So could u call mayella a southern belle? thoughts?
If you think about it, the author instills Mayella as a character that contrasts Scout. They are complete opposites of one another. So, you are correct- Mayella could be described as a southern belle
