The effects are detrimental and break down of very core of rule of law and corrupt judges neglect fundamental principals such as equality,impartiality, property and integrity. When any of our rights are violated we can seek remedy through courts. If it is a Fundamental Right we can directly approach the Supreme Court or the High Court of a state. That is why Dr. Ambedkar called the Right to Constitutional Remedies, 'the heart and soul' of our Constitution

There are numerous disadvantages and only one advantage.

Disadvantages

It disempowers people who otherwise thought themselves protected
It places standards beyond the reach of people….well the people said rights are supposed to protect, for the benefit of people they are supposed to restrain.
It turns justice into a context-dropping dogma
It smouthers people’s ambition for the evolution of rights
People don’t understand their origin or justification
They are extolled in the same way as a child demanding candy
