Sullivan says that he is perfectly willing to die to pay the debt owed to those who fell in the American Revolution. What debt, if any, do you feel we owe to Sullivan Ballou and other men like him who died for our country?
Respect. They died for our country so we could be free. We owe them a debt of never-ending respect. If people like Sullivan Ballou and other soldiers like him didn't do anything, we'd all have lost our freedom and dignity for what we stand for here in the USA.
