*pic attached* There are 98 international units (IUs) of vitamin D in 1 cup of milk. The function V(c)=98c represents the amount V(c) of vitamin D, in IUs, you get from c cups of milk. You have a 16-cup jug of milk. What is a reasonable domain and range for this function?

As V (c) = 98c ------------- (1)

Where c = 16

By putting the value of c in equation (1);

 V (c) = 98 x 16 = 1568

The value of “c” neither be negative nor greater than 16, so the possible domain will be 0≤ c ≤16

While the corresponding range will be 0≤ V(c) ≤1568.

Hence the last option in the questions attached picture is correct.

The correct answer is:

0 ≤ c ≤ 16, 0 ≤ V(c) ≤ 1568

Explanation:

Since the jug of milk has 16 cups, the domain, c, runs from 0 to 16.

This means the range, V(c), runs from 98(0) = 0 to 98(16) = 1568.
