two numbers are such that if 11 is added to the first number,the answer is twice the second number.Also,if 25 is subtracted from the first number ,the answer is half the second what are the numbers?
So I assume the question means x+11=y*2 and x-25=y/2. I couldn't write all the steps on here because I did it on paper but the answer is x = 37 and y = 24
