Sentence two is complete because it clearly communicates that the nation of Kenya is proud. Number one is incomplete because we don't know who ran to the store. Sentence three is incomplete because even though we know Jim and the ball are related we don't know how they're related, Is Jim kicking the ball? Is Jim quite literally a ball? We'll never know.
