Answer: The way sergei reacts when yoni comes to his door was not rational nor reasonable. I think it was mainly because of the fact that he thought that yoni knew about the magical fish. Also because his hebrew was not that great.

#2) How does sergei's cultural experience help explain his reaction?

Answer: Sergei did not like people knocking on his door and ask him questions. It was from when he was small that he had experience with stuff like it, which is why when it actually happened to him in the new place he moved to, the reaction was irrational.

Answer: What the dialogue between sergei and the goldfish reveals about their relationship is that they both were close if not good friends. This is apparent by the way they talk to each other and the many years that they have been together after hearing the stories about the first two wishes.

Answer: What I could infer about sergei’s character is that although he is not really great at being social or having relations with others, he is a good person at heart who is lonely and tries to change his flaws.
