verbal abuse - cussing, yelling, insults, unnecessary comments, etc.
physical abuse - throwing things, hitting, shoving, etc.
emotional abuse - telling you you’re not good enough, being unsupportive of your decisions, not accepting you for who you are, etc.
sexual harassment - touching in inappropriate areas, sexual comments, etc.
being irresponsible - not cleaning up after their mess, not being there in an urgent situation, etc.
these are all improper behaviours of an authority figure. it can be a police officer, a manager, an owner of a workplace, a teacher or even a parent. if they continue on with this behaviour then the younger people or the workers will imitate their actions.
