This is really a personal answer but I will give you things to think about and consider while writing your answer:

- positive for brands to receive new interaction with the brand

- positive for teens to stay in the know (which links back to fulfilling social needs)

- negative for teens because companies may be taking advantage of them with prices, influencing,etc... (definitely need laws in place about brand interacting with teens to protect them)
