A mirage is one of the amazing natural phenomena that occurs on earth which is one of the planets in the solar system.

The beginning of the mirage was due to the difference in temperature density between cold air and hot air temperatures in the atmosphere above the earth's crust. Cool air temperatures have a denser and heavier density than hot air temperatures which have a lower density and are lighter.
Because of this, the hot air layer will be close to the soil layer and trapped by the cooler air layer above it, so that the light will refract towards the horizontal line on the view and travel upwards due to the internal influence. Total internal reflection is a process of light reflection that occurs on the boundary surface between one medium and another, which has a smaller refractive index, if the angel of incidence to the second medium exceeds a certain critical angel. And the light that is in a medium with a high refractive index will travel to a medium with a lower refractive index.
When this light is seen by our eyes, the we will see it as if there are shadows of types of water which are called mirage.
