Answer:

8.) The 4 Deserts takes competitors on a journey through the driest, hottest, coldest and windiest places on earth, testing their limits both physically and mentally.

9.)The Atacama Desert, is the driest hot desert in the world. The race in this desert starts high up, at 3,000 meters, and takes runners on several ascents and descents. Moreover, runners face loose rocky terrain. On the other hand, the main challenge of the Sahara Desert is the fact that this is the world's hottest desert. This desert has sand dunes that can reach 590 feet high. The main challenges of this desert are staying hydrated and battling exhaustion.

10.) It might be only opened to qualifying runners because they tend to have much more experience than other runners. According to paragraph 9 it states "This race is staged on the Antarctic Peninsula and its surrounding islands. Weather conditions are erratic, so planning the racecourse is put off until the last moment. Competitors and crew are housed in a ship that transports runners to the start of each stage every morning. '' and paragraph 8 also states "Dehydration and heat exhaustion is are two of the biggest health concerns for the runners in this race" This two pieces of evidence clearly show that it would damage unexperienced runners.

Hope this helped :)
