Data consolidation is a command that summarizes information from multiple excel worksheets and combines them in a single consolidated worksheet. The command does not affect the original data. Consolidation is either static or dynamic.
A change in the origin or source worksheets does not reflect in the consolidated worksheet in static consolidation.
Dynamic means that a change in the source worksheets will be updated in the consolidated data automatically.
When the source data is final and will not be edited, dynamic consolidation is applicable.
