Let

the side of the square =a

• As we know that in a square

$\boxed{\sf Perimeter=4a}$

• Substitute the values

$\hookrightarrow\sf 4a=128$

$\hookrightarrow\sf a=\dfrac {128}{4}$

$\hookrightarrow\bf a=32$

• Side=32cm

We know that in a square

$\boxed {\sf Area=(a)^2}$

• Substitute the values

$\looprightarrow\sf Area=(32)^2$

$\hookrightarrow\bf Area=1024cm^2$
