1. Do you know someone with a genetic disease? Do you know someone with a disability? If you do, how do you think their problem has affected them?

2. Imagine someone with an obvious disability; for example, someone in a wheelchair. Do you treat someone like that differently than “normal” people? Do other people treat someone in a wheelchair differently? How?

3. Imagine your doctor told you that you had a genetic disease, such as Eric was told. Further, imagine that you are told there is nothing that can be done about it. How would you feel? What would you do?

4. Predict what the future holds for Eric.

1 I do know someone with a genetic disease and also with a disability, and I think it has affected them mentally a lot Bc like for the person i know with a disability they’re constantly thinking they’re too different and that no one will ever love them, so I think it rlly affects them mentally.
2. I treat everyone the same no matter what they have going on or what they look like, they’re a person they should nkt be treated differently. And sadly yes other ppl treat someone in a wheel chair horrible sometimes I’ve seen many of ppl just push someone in a wheel chair out of the way or say rude things about them or to them.
3. If I was told I had a genetic disease and I found out there was nothing I could do about it, at first I would probably feel very sad and worried but I think the longer I knew there wasn’t something I could do and I had accepted it I would be okay. And I would probably do the same as I do now.
4. Um you didn’t give any information about Eric..
