Monopoly, child labor, and dangerous workplaces. In the late 1800's and early 1900's, factory fires were common, and killed lots of workers. Workers didn't ave any rights, and could get fired for something as little as having a bad opinion. Child labor was common, and children would constantly get injured, and loose limbs from the machines, because they didn't know how to work them. And monopoly, caused a corrupt government, people got hired for things they weren't suited for, and handeled the hue responsibilities that came with those jobs like they were nothing. And the meat industry, was a MESS.
