During the Napoleonic Wars, there was a conflict between the Ottomans and the British Empire. The war lasted from 1807. to 1809 and it occurred when Napoleon aided the Ottoman empire which declared war on Russia. Britain declared war on France, and with it, went against the Ottomans as well. The conflict ended with the Turkish victory and treaty of Dardanelles.
