1) The bowling club at your school had a car wash last week. They washed 72 cars in 6. 5 hours. About how many cars did they wash per hour?

2) You bought two 2.5 pound bags of shrimp for $34.99. What is the unit rate of the shrimp in dollars per pound? Find the unit rate to the nearest dollar.

1) they would wash about 11 cars per hour 72/6.5
2) 13.99 per 1/2 pound 34.99/2.5

They washed 11 cars jn an hour . U do 72 divided by 6.5 to find the unit rate . And for the shrimp you do 34.99 divided by 5 and it equals 6.998 so you round to 7 . Therefore shrimp costs 7 dollars per pound
