Respuesta :
Natural selection doesn't favor traits that are somehow inherently superior. Instead, it favors traits that are beneficial (that is, help an organism survive and reproduce more effectively than its peers) in a specific environment. Traits that are helpful in one environment might actually be harmful in another.
(one again, I hope this helps ^^)
Darwin's process of natural selection has four components.
- Variation.
- Inheritance.
- High rate of population growth.
- Differential survival and reproduction.
Thus, other than that might be considered as traits that do not evolve through natural selection.
What is Natural Selection?
Natural selection is the process in nature by which organisms adapted, their environment tends to survive and reproduce more than those less acclimated to their environment.
For example, treefrogs are sometimes eaten by snakes and birds.
Thus, other than that might be considered as traits that do not evolve through natural selection.
