D. 1/16 Bucket of flour
The reason it is this this way is because for two cakes the baker needed 1/8 of a bucket of flour so if you wanted to find out how many buckets of flour you would need for 1 cake is simple. You would divide 1/8 by 2 and when you divide a fraction you have to flip the number that needs to be divided and in this case it is 1/8. Then you would multiply 8/1 (the fraction 1/8 is being flipped) by 2/1 ( or just 2), and 8 x 2= 16. And your end answer should be 1/16
Hope this helps!
Please tell me if I am incorrect, I enjoy learning from my mistakes!
Good luck❤️
