At one time I was just a high school leaver seeking for opportunities to acquire a university education. Being from a humble background, only hope of a university education is to win a scholarship that will cover the cost of my education.
One day, I was introduced to the Hope Godson Tertiary Education Empowerment Foundation. The foundation offers scholarship to indigent students if they make a score of 3 and above on a five point band grading system.
I sat for the exam and waited patiently for the result which was to be released in two months time. On a certain day, I received a telegram from the foundation stating that I made a score of 4.5 and I have been offered a full scholarship to study at my dream university. I have never felt so lucky in my life as I felt that day.
