3.5+3.5+5+5=17

so he will need 17 feet for each window.

since there are 8 windows, we will need to multiply 17 and 8 to get the final answer. the final answer will be:

17x8=136 feet

5. so there are 10 elves who makes 10 xylophones each day. since 10x10=100, this means that 100 xylophones are made each day. since each xylophone has 10 keys each, this means that every day, 1,000 keys are made. this is because 100x10=1000. to get the final answer, we need to know how many keys were made in 10 days. to know this, we need to do 1000x10. the final answer will be:

1000x10=10,000 keys
