  • The pre-mRNA that are formed must undergo modification known as a post-transcriptional modification to produce the final form called messenger RNA (mRNA).  
  • The process by which mRNA formed from the process of transcription is decoded to result in the production of proteins are called translation
  • Two important molecules including tRNAs and ribosomes significantly facilitate the translation process.
