According to King, muse is not someone real. He states in his memoir that that guy lives in the ground,i.e, he is a basement kind of guy. Therefore, it is writer's responsibility to get down there. You have to serve like you are taking care of luxurious wife. King writes that muse has got inspiration although he doesn't like to talk. So that, you have to work all night because you will expect something to change your life.
