The Boston Tea Party was an event that changed American history. It was one of the key moments when Americans really started to rebel against England. They were standing up against the British for taxing them on things such as stamps, paper, and of course tea. They showed their rebellion by dumping the tea in the water on that night.
The significance of the Boston Tea Party is they were rioting because of the tax on tea, and all the other taxes that were put on things. They were rioting because they hated the taxes and wanted to let the government know that they would do anything they could to try and get the taxes abolished. hope this helps.
