B. Tragicomedy
Tragicomedy is a literary genre that combines both tragic and comic elements, it brings together the amusing and the grim sides of life
One of the many examples of this genre is the work of Samuel Beckett: Endgame (1958), whereby the author depicts situations where he suggests that beginnings and endings are intertwined, that existence is cyclical (For example, it makes references to Christ, whose death gave birth to a new religion), he conveys the message that life is absurd and meaningless, and perhaps laughter is the best response to that. There's a line, said by one of the characters, that best portray the play: "Nothing is funnier than unhappiness".
