Ok so what we need to focus on: Food, Sports, Festivals, Religion and Their Traditional dress(ing).

Ok so the Latin American culture is in 20 different countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, & Venezuela.

Dance traditions of Mexico, Central America, and some of the portions of South America and the Caribbean are colonized by the Spanish and Portuguese, these traditions reflect on the distinctive mixtures of indigenous (Amerindian), African, & European. Nobody does a Carnival Like the Latin Americans and they do certainly know how to party! Latin American carnivals and festivals are far reaching.  The British impact of sports was overwhelming, as the Latin Americans took up football (called fútbol in Latin America and the Portuguese called it futebol a.k.a soccer.) In Argentina, rugby, polo, tennis and golf were important middle class sports. Before the Spanish arrived, the Incas, spreading from their center in Cuzco, Peru, between c. 1300 and 1532, reigned over a vast empire. Mandating that their conquered groups maintained their traditional clothing, headdress, and  hairstyle allowed them (the Incas) to identify and control their conquered groups. The Spanish introduced new tools for cloth production such as: treadle looms, carders, spinning wheels, new fibers, sheeps wool and silk. The Spanish first insisted on that their native folks wear their own dress. Latin American food is known for its many different variations of dishes incorporating some spices as long with some cultural influences.
