Among these men was Robert Ballard who made an attempt to go on underwater dives and surface scans using magnetometers but because he did not have enough money, he did not continue.
In contrast, Jack Grimm was wealthy and had the money to buy the best and latest equipment to search for the Titanic but he was also unsuccessful.
Robert Ballard made another attempt to try the Titanic and this time he was successful.
