1a. Saturn is the Roman god of sowing that was born by Uranus and Gaea. The Romans valued him so much and engaged in the worship of Saturnalia between December 17 to 23. Christmas was moved to December 25 by the Christians.

b.Germans believe that Hercules visited them in Gaul during one of his missions. They thought of him to be Thor. They had a victory song for him.

2. Hephaestus is a Roman God that is known in Greece as Vulcan. He is thought to be responsible for the volcanoes that affect the world to date.

b. The week of the day known as Saturday was coined from the god Saturnalia who was responsible for agricultural prosperity.

3. a. Jupiter through Mercury instructed Aeneas to continue sailing to find the new home of the Trojan refugees. This new home through the birth of the twins was to be later known as Rome.

b. Neptune, the god of the sea helped the Trojan fleet by calming the storm that was sent by Juno, the wife of Jupiter to destroy their mission of finding a new home.
