The Great Awakening was a period in which people began to question traditional authority in both politics and religion. For this assignment, answer the following questions. 2. Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield were the two most prominent preachers during the Great Awakening. Who do you feel was more impactful and why?

3. Not everyone was in favor of the changes that occurred during the Great Awakening. Why would a minister or person be against religious changes in the colonies?

4. The Great Awakening prepared people for the revolution during the 1770s. How were people prepared, and why did this happen in the colonies?

A concept that is most important is that the more they wrote it would help in the future goverment. Another important concept is the government was set in place to help people not hurt them, so the writtings had to have been useful. (not very sure bout this question)

2. Jonathan Edwards had a better impact because he had better topics that were more affective than George Whitefield. He was also was easier to listen to.

3.They might be against the changes because thy already have their religeon.   set in place. They also might not want it to change because they like it the way it is.

4. People got prepared by talking in secret and plotting against people. It happened because people were sick of the british pushing things on them. Making them pay more taxes and letting strangers in their house.
