When the school decided to start the social responsibility project where we were going to help children in indigenous villages, we were excited, but we did not expect that our project would be as big a proportion as it is today and how it would affect the life of the village.
We arrive at the village every Saturday at nine in the morning. We started early, to better optimize the time we have with children and even adults, as our project has grown and so has our group. We start by helping children with their homework and answer any questions they may have about any subject. Then, we started a professional class, where some of our countries teach adults and teenagers a professional job. This has been very beneficial and has given the members of the village many benefits.
These activities end at noon and at that moment we have a break for food. then we started playing sports with several different teams and ended the day with some cultural presentation, usually promoted by members of the village, as a way of providing an exchange of knowledge between the two populations.
