can someone convert that to point slope form and tell me the steps?

First you need to get x to the other side so subtract it from each side to get
-2y=-x-2
Then divide everything by negative 2 and you have your answer
y=1/2x+1

Answer 2

1x-2y=-2
-1x -1x
-2y=-1x-2
-2 -2 -2
y=1x+1
2

(The form is y=Mx+b so we want the y in front of the equation so we solve for x)

We divide -2 because we want the y isolated(aline and we want the y positive too)

And there is your answer
