how do i write a compare and contrast essay about two stories ??

Introduction: Introduce the general topic, then introduce the two specific topics. End with your thesis, which addresses what is going to be covered in the essay. Body paragraph 1: Begins with the topic sentence for topic 1. For example: “Cats are easier to maintain and less expensive to care for than dogs.”

If it's a standard 5 paragraph essay then you could write two paragraphs about the similarities. Think about an event or the characteristics of the people of the stories that are similar and how they relate to one another. You can do the third body paragraph on something that is different between the two stories, it can be the setting (time, place, etc), or the different language used.
