2. Isabella is the natural mother of 12 year old Caesar. Caesar has never known his father and his father has never shown any interest in Caesar, never paid any child support or visited the child
since he was born. Isabella has now been convicted of criminal possession of drugs and has been offered an opportunity to go into a drug treatment facility instead of jail. She will remain in this
facility for at least 18 months. Isabella's parents wish to terminate their daughter's parental rights. The commissioner, in agreement with the grandparents, moves to intervene and ask the
court to terminate Isabella's parental rights and award them full custody of Caesar. The administer of the drug program testifies that he believes that parental termination at this time will
hurt Isabella's recovery chances.
What factors would be relevant in determining whether the court should terminate her right as a
parent and custody should be awarded to the grandparents. What options would you consider in
your decision?

If the court did allow the grandparents to have full custudy over the child, I fell like the mother would kinda give up on life (coming from my own mother cause this happened to me). It would make the mother feel like she has nothing to live for now becuase she has lost her daughter. The only way for her to get her back would be for her to get better. (my mother didn't get better and I live with my grandparents)

If the court did not allow the grandparents to have full custody over the child, the mother (in my opinion) would do everything she can so that way she could start over and do whats right for her child. She would have something/someone to live for and to get better.
