Answer: Dear diary,

Today was hectic we fought long and hard. America is counting on me to win this battle against the British. My family is so scared for me, we've been writing letters to each other. I want to go home but I fear if I do I shall die. Our general is scared that we may lose this battle, I can see it in his eyes. I wonder how long this battle will last. I may write later, good-day.
