Sir Isaac Newton was the one who figured out the gravity affect objects o. earth
The effect of gravity on objects on Earth was discovered by Sir Isaac Newton (1642 - 1727). Newton was an English mathematician and physicist, known for his three laws of motion. According to the legend, he discovered the force of gravity when he saw the apple falling to the ground and began to study the forces of nature. His contribution to physics and mathematics is immeasurable. He found that laws of gravity exist in the cosmos, not only on Earth and that gravity along with the force of inertia acts on the celestial bodies in the order of motion and rotation around the sun.
