The play "Romeo And Juliet" by William Shakespeare, is about a boy named Romeo and a girl named Juliet. Their family are enemies, which means that they are always fighting with each other. At a party, Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time not knowing who each other are, later that night that they are enemies. They went on and fell in love with each other and get married after meeting for only one night. This is where all of the drama kicks in. After the drama gets to their head and they kill themselves. In Romeo and Juliet Capulet’s and Montague’s, Friar Lawrence, and Balthasar are all responsible for the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
The Capulet’s and Montague’s are responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet. The reaosn why is because of all of the hatred between both of the families. "And then awake as from a pleasant sleep. Shall Romeo by my letters know our drift.” This was the plan that had convinced Juliet to try it. This could’ve worked if Romeo could’ve waited for the letter.
Lastly, there is Balthasar that is responsible for the death of Romeo. The reason why he is at fault is because he got to Romeo before the letter carrier. Balthasar should’ve never went to Romeo because of him. Basically, Romeo and Juliet would’ve actually ran away today. I am pretty sure I understand why Balthasar probably told Romeo just because he was Romeo’s servant. Although, if he just didn’t come Romeo would’ve gotten the letter. For example, “Then she is well and nothing can be ill. Her body sleeps in Capel’s monument, and her immortal part with angels lives. I saw her laid low in her kindred’s vault… O, pardon me for bringing these ill news,". This evidence shows how Balthasar informed Romeo on Juliet’s death.
In Romeo and Juliet Capulet’s and Montague’s, Friar Lawrence, and Balthasar are responsible for the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet. This shows you how all three of them affected Romeo and Juliet’s death. If you have read or watched the book or movie, then you would most likely believe that they are the reason for their deaths. The deaths could also be their faults as well they should’ve probably stood up to their parents and tell them that they were in love.
