The two main causes that helped the rise and development of Confucianism was the Han Dynasty and the upper class appearance associated with Confucianism. Confucianism caused more peace throughout China, respect towards elders and social superiors, fair leaders of society, and good ethics. The 6th century B.C.E. was an amazing time of philosophical growth for ancient China. It was during that time that the two most influential spiritual leaders native to China, Confucius and Lao-tzu, are thought to have lived and taught. The philosophies that they practiced, Taoism and Confucianism, existed simultaneously in dynastic China. because of the current times of peace the love of both philosophy's by rulers they ere able to spread quite well.
