A healthy attitude can be defined a collection of good, positive, and favorable actions or practices that emotionally, socially, physically, and psychologically (mentally) impacts the life or of an individual.

Hence, it is very important and necessary for every individual to develop and practice healthy attitudes.

Basically, the five (5) of examples of healthy attitudes towards self include the following:

I. Self compassion: this involves being kind to one self and it helps to enhance self esteem.

II. Avoidance of too much alcohol and cigarettes: when you avoid the intake of excess alcohol and smoking cigarettes, you significantly lessen the risk of having:

  • Lung cancer.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Depression, etc.

III. Keeping proper hygiene: being hygienic such as brushing and bathing regularly helps to make your body organs, tissue, and skin function properly.

IV. Getting adequate sleep: it is very important to give the body a rest of at least eight (8) hours sleep daily.

V. Self eulogization: you should always say positive things to yourself and believe in your abilities to achieve more in life.
