Should animals have rights?

Animals are like humans too, in the way that they have emotions and are able to feel pain when hurt is inflicted upon them. Therefore, we human beings should not be selfish and we should treat our counterparts with equal respect as they deserve.

XD ummm idk if they should some animals have abilitys that dominate humans but no they cant have rights, animals don't speak English except the parrot, maybe more idk, but they cant have rights though, but instead we should treat them with respect and treat them the way we want to be treated to just keep it peaceful
