A.) They provide a way to review the work of others.

B.) They provide a source for the most accurate information.

C.) They keep others from repeating research that’s already been done.

D.) They provide information on the laws of science.

Respuesta :

The way I usually answer multiple-answer questions is to FIRST eliminate all of the absurd choices. Wit this question there aren't any absurd choices, so now I think about the purpose of a scientific journal, which to to provide scientists with information on research that other scientists have completed. Based on this definition I can eliminate choices B and D because there are better ways to convey that information. This leaves us with choices A and C. Technically, both are correct - I would go back over the lesson to see if it specifically says (because I bet it does) if it DOESN'T, then I would most likely go with option A. But BEFORE you just go with what I said, go back through the lesson - because if this is 11th grade Chemistry then I know for a fact that it does say. Good luck!

Scientific journals are publications that are published annually. The journal includes authentic research works, a review of literature, suggestions for new research ideas.

The correct options are:

Option A. They provide a way to review the work of others.

Option C. They keep others from repeating research that’s already been done.

  • The scientific journals have various scientific papers and articles which can be reviewed by others as well.

  • This helps in time management and also gives the idea about research domains that have been already covered.

  • It also helps the researchers to know about the completed researches so that they can avoid repetitive work on the same topic.

Therefore, scientific journals provide a way to review the work of others as well as keep others from repeating research that’s already been done.
