well i wouldn't know about that... I mean im not a doctor but having a healthy diet means that you are healthy and you're technically fine mentally but if you mean that in order to be more alert and starving for food, yes it does keep you alert since you would do anything to obtain food but being "mentally alert" can be a good and bad thing depending on what you mean. Youre brain is fine when its healthy meaning that if you need to be alert you will be
