A complementary angle of another angle is the angle that when you add it to that angle, you get 90 degrees.
For example, we have angle A. When we add the complementary angle of angle A, you get 90 degrees. :)
So, what we can do for this problem is create an equation! :)
x + 70.2° = "an angle"
x = complementary angle
Notice: I put the 70.2° to show the difference between the complementary angle and the angle itself.
Now, we can make an equation!
(x + 70.2°) + x = 90
2x = 19.8
x = 19.8/2
x = 9.9 degrees
One angle is 9.9 degrees, and the other angle is x + 70.2 = 9.9 + 70.2 = 80.1 degrees. We can see that when we add 9.9 and 80.1 we get 90 degrees, and when you minus 9.9 from 80.1, you get 70.2. :)
