Hi, i need someone to give me a brief over view of "The Cask Of Amontillado" and I need sort of a short summary of what happens from beginning to end.

"the reader is never told what the exact insult was that caused Montresor to seek revenge against Forunato, write to tell what happened before the story begins."

ok so it's pretty much about this one dude Montresor who hates this guy Forunato  a lot because of this one insult Forunato said (i believe it was a joke not sure for sure tho) So Montresor decides to get Forunato drunk and lead him into these catacombs  (there like a big basement to bury dead people and decorate the walls with skulls look it up to its pretty cool)  Montresor then chins Forunato up to the very back of the catacombs and buries him alive
