$Then \: Becky's \: age \: will \: be = 2x - 5$

$Sum \: of \: their \: age = 62$

This can be written in an equation as :

$x + 2x - 5 = 62$

$3x - 5 = 62$

$3x = 62 - 5$

$3x = 57$

$x = \frac{57}{3}$

$x = 19$

$Megan's \: age = x = 19$

$Becky's \: age = 19 \times 2 - 5$

$= 38 - 5$

$Becky's \: age = 33$

∴ Megan's age is 19 and Becky's age is 33 .
