If you happen to have a calculator handy, all you have to do is know the basics of a cube. Length is in one dimension (ft), area in two dimensions (ft^2), and volume in three dimensions (ft^3). We also know that in a cube, all sides are of equal length. This means that to find the area of one side of a cube is the length (L) squared. To find the volume, you would then multiply the area of the base (L^2) by the height. In a cube, the height is the same as the length because all the sides are the same. Therefore, the volume is L^3. So in an equation, this is
V= L^3
so if you have the value for V (which you do), you can pplug it in to get the length of the side
3375= L^3
(cube root)(3375)= L
L= 15
V= L^3
so if you have the value for V (which you do), you can pplug it in to get the length of the side
3375= L^3
(cube root)(3375)= L
L= 15
The answer is 15ft. I just used a scientific calculator, I don't know how to solve it on paper, sorry. But basically all I did was get the cube root of 3357 which is 15.
